Our offer

What can we do for you?

As a strategic advisor, business coach and researchers, we guide organisations on their journey towards sustainability in knowledge and action-oriented practice. Organisations can be non-profit, profit or product or service-oriented. Everyone can contribute from a more sustainable perspective and embed this in business models and broader added value.

Would you like to know more about what we can do for you or your organisation?

Inspiration sessions

Knowledge sessions for your team, customers, suppliers or shareholders on how the world is changing and how your organisation can incorporate sustainability.

An inspiration session can focus on a broad understanding of sustainability, developments in your sector or patterns that you can recognise in your market. We can also organise a specific workshop on sustainable business models and experiment with which elements of these can be applied to your products and services. Experience has taught us that this is an accessible way to explore the subject with stakeholders, teams, management teams or a project team that is already working on an assignment in a sustainable way.

In these inspiration sessions, we apply the latest theories, frameworks and models from the academic world, with the practical interpretation that is also used in training programmes at Nyenrode Business University by learning from best practices. The ideal mix of theory and practice.

Quick Scan

analysis of your organisation, which will give you a quick insight into the market opportunities and your sustainable  business potential.

No thick reports, but a targeted analysis in which we provide insight into your market opportunities and sustainable  potential. That is what we focus on in a quick scan. We provide insight into where the market stands, what the expected trends are in the sustainability of your market area and how you can distinguish yourself. We sketch out scenarios, because ultimately the journey to your sustainable organisation is unique and must fit your vision.

We will gather information from your own organisation and the market, and through a number of interviews we will find out where you stand and what has been done in recent years. The insights will be presented in a concluding presentation, after which you can immediately make choices in the building blocks of your sustainable course.

Organisational management based on
People, Planet & Profit

organisations focus on People, Planet and Profit, for example from the perspective of compliance for the CSRD? This requires a different approach than just focusing on finances. The values often conflict with each other, so what do you choose? I can guide your organisation in this.

Many organisations focus primarily on their financial performance because that is what shareholders consider most important or because that is how we have always done things. Organisations that want to make more sustainable choices will also want to include social or ecological aspects in their decision-making. These choices are more difficult to make because performance in these other aspects cannot always be related 1:1 to the financial frameworks. We call this steering towards multiple value creation. This requires you to first choose a management framework that fits your intended impact and then practise balancing these values in the decisions that the board or management makes. In other words, it requires a combination of knowledge, structure and skills.

Sustainable business coaching

In an action-oriented programme lasting 6 to 12 months, I will guide your organisation in building knowledge and skills by designing (pilot) projects with your team and learning together in practice.
No two organisations are the same, which is both wonderful and challenging, but there are recognisable patterns in the path companies take to become more sustainable. Based on these patterns, I can use business coaching to guide you in taking the right steps, adding content at the right time with a knowledge session and building skills together with the organisation that can make more sustainable choices in a targeted way. Depending on your question, I will guide organisations on their path to sustainability as an expert on your organisational team and depending on your needs

Case Study

An IT services company contacts Koru Consulting and wants to start working on sustainability. One of the founders is enthusiastic about the subject, recognises the necessity and wants to include his organisation in this. He has also just attracted a new investor who is asking for this subject to be addressed.  His question is, where do I start?

In Koru Consulting, the company has acquired an action-oriented consultancy firm, which suits the hands-on organisation. We will first conduct a quick scan, for which a number of interviews will be held and surveys will be used. With a turnaround time of two weeks, the organisation will have a representation of where the organisation stands and what possible next steps could be in their sustainable development. An IT services company contacts Koru Consulting and wants to start working on sustainability. KORU will design the follow-up process based on the building blocks for a sustainable organisation, and then we can get to work.
We will start with a cross-functional team, which includes one of the board members. First, we will spend two full days transferring knowledge, shaping the plans and kick-starting the first 100 days. The goal for 100 days from now must be both achievable and challenging. The steps on the road to sustainability will be a mix of developing the organisation itself and also developing the chain of which the organisation is a part. Internal and external cooperation is an essential element on the road to impact.

Every week, the core team and KORU meet to monitor progress and organise activities in the form of workshops or brainstorming sessions. Each client requires a customised approach to ensure a lasting change process.
We continuously test whether we will achieve the 100-day objective and whether we have chosen the right course. If necessary, adjustments are made in consultation.
After 100 days, there is a moment to celebrate and share the successes with the management, team and organisation. It is important to assess what went well, what did not go well and how we can make the next steps even more successful. If desired, a new set of 100 days can be determined with KORU or the organisation is already ready to continue sustainable development itself with the core team. The impact has then been made for this company to continue on a future-proof and sustainable path.
